FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are there bags and a litter mat inside the box?

Yes, the box contains a litter splash mat to catch litter as the cat exits it. It also contains a roll of 20 starter liner bags that can last quite a few weeks.

How often do you add litter?

It's advisable to regularly monitor the level of cat litter in the litter box and replenish it promptly when it's low. By observing your cat's toileting and eating patterns, you can estimate when additional litter might be needed. For cats using the box frequently, adding litter every two to three days is recommended to maintain a sufficient amount. Of course, the specific time interval for adding cat litter must be determined based on your cat's actual situation.

What safety features does the litter box have?

Our self-cleaning litter box has four infrared sensors to ensure your cat's safety. The sensors halt operation if your cat is detected inside, and the open-top design also prevents potential entrapment.

How is this litter box different?

It offers a unique open-top design for safety and ease of access. It features a spacious 7L waste compartment that can go 1-2 weeks without needing cleaning. Maintenance is swift and hygienic; most importantly, contactless disposal takes seconds!

No Dust, No Smell, No Worries

If you’re cleaning by hand, you’re fighting an uphill battle against time, bacteria, and odor. You can’t scoop fast enough to stay ahead of what’s happening in that box — and honestly, you shouldn’t have to. Your cat deserves a box that’s clean every time they use it, and you deserve a home that smells as fresh as it looks.

That’s why we built the Happi Scooper: to take the hidden hygiene risks off your plate (and your back), and give you peace of mind that your cat’s space — and yours — stays healthy, clean, and calm without daily effort.

Want to go away but can't because of litter box poop waste buildup?

Travel, late meetings, or a busy weekend, and the box falls behind fast. In multi-cat homes, the problem multiplies, turning a fine setup into a chore you have to catch up on.

The longer the delay, the more clumps harden, the more odor builds, and the more complex the cleanup feels. You get stuck in a boom-and-bust cycle instead of steady upkeep.

It’s a simple shift that helps you keep your home tidier, your routine lighter, and your peace of mind intact. If you want a safer, cleaner setup without adding chores to your day, this is the straightforward answer.

Do you know what is really breeding inside your litter box?

A traditional litter box is a small, enclosed ecosystem — warm, moist, and nutrient-rich.

Every scoop, pour, and toss can release a fine cloud of dust that carries bacteria, odor, and microscopic waste particles through your home. That’s not something any pet parent wants to breathe — and it’s precisely why automating litter cleanup isn’t a luxury, it’s smart hygiene.

And even if you manage to avoid the germs, ammonia—the byproduct of urine breakdown—builds up quickly. That sharp odor isn’t just unpleasant; it’s a sign of bacterial activity that can irritate lungs and eyes, especially for kids or anyone with allergies.

Campylobacter and Pasteurella

Less famous, but just as unpleasant. These bacteria can cause digestive or respiratory infections, and cats often carry them without symptoms. That means your box can look “normal” while still harboring invisible pathogens.

Toxoplasma gondii

A microscopic parasite found in cat feces. Most people never notice it, but it can cause toxoplasmosis, which poses serious risks for pregnant women or anyone with a weaker immune system. Once cat waste dries, the tiny spores can become airborne whenever you scoop.

C. difficile
(C. diff)

One of the most stubborn bacteria of all. Its spores can survive on surfaces for weeks and resist most ordinary cleaners. Once stirred up, they don’t just vanish — they float, settle, and spread.

E. coli and Salmonella

Bacteria commonly found in waste that can linger on scoops, mats, and nearby surfaces. They’re easily spread when you handle litter, empty bags, or even open the trash can. A single missed handwash can carry them straight to kitchen counters or other high-touch areas. this text with your content

So easy and so quiet.

While ordinary litter boxes demand constant attention, ours gives you your time (and your back), turning litter duty into a hands-off experience.

Hate Bending Over All Day?

Scooping a traditional litter box isn’t just gross—it’s hard on your body. All that bending, hunching, and twisting can strain your lower back, knees, and hips, especially when you’re doing it day after day. Over time, that “quick chore” adds up to real discomfort.

The Happi Scooper takes that pressure off your body and your schedule. Instead of crouching over a dirty litter box, you simply empty a sealed waste drawer on your terms—no constant bending, no awkward scooping, no cloud of dust in your face.

With Happi Scooper, you get:

Less bending, less pain: No more daily “deep dive” into the litter box.

Cleaner, faster routine: Automatic cleaning means you just change the waste bag and go.

More comfort at home: A fresher box without the physical strain of managing it.

Protect your back and let the Happi Scooper do the dirty work for you.

Great litter box.

This is a great auto litter box, especially at the price which is a fraction of the price of some of the high end boxes, but it performs just as well.Super easy to assemble. Took 5 minutes max.The motor sounds like it's a little undersized for the box, you can hear it whine a bit when it's trying to move the weight of the litter. Definitely be careful not to over fill!It has a great open design and how it rotates makes it way safer than other boxes. On top of that it has two different types of sensors that prevent it from moving if a cat is in it. There is a weight sensor and a motion sensor. The capacity is very good as well. You'll probably only have to empty it once a week with one cat, maybe even two cats

A must have for cat families.

This is an amazing product!  I have been through two Scoop Free boxes. I was getting ready to order a new one when the Scooper showed up on sale for around the same price. I was skeptical, but decided to make the switch. It arrived in a timely manner, was easy to set up, and it fit in the corner space the old box was in with room to spare! It seems to be designed quite well and very sturdy. My cat is fully grown...practically a Garfield, and she has no problem using it.I was not a huge fan of the crystal litter I had to use in the Scoop Free. So, it is a huge benefit to be able to use regular litter with this box.My cat started using this box as soon as I set it up. There were no transition issues for her. I might have to get her a step as this box sets higher than her old box.Now down to the best part...this box stays clean! It has been set up and used for over a week now. I have not smelled any odors. This is saying something. When my cat used her old litterbox, you could smell it rooms away. Now, we have not smelled her at all! This box is so quiet I have not heard it run through a cycle. I actually was worried it wasn't working and went in to check. I hit the button and watched it cycle. Then checked the waste bin. Yep it is working! I am amazed!

Wow! Super high quality for an affordable price.

I am simply blown away by this box! I found it by chance and decided to cautiously order it after hearing stories of the cheap boxes being dangerous and squishing cats. Let me start off with safety:- the box never fully closed during the cleaning cycle, so even if the sensors were to malfunction, your cat would never be in danger- the sensors work really well during the cleaning cycle and me even briefly putting my hand in immediately stops everythingPackaging, design, quality: My boyfriend’s jaw dropped when I told him how affordable this box was. Our friends have the LR 4, which is the same quality. The packaging and design were beautiful. Nicely written instructions, including QR codes for video and digital instructions, not the kind you sometimes get with cheap products, where there are typically many mistranslations. It took me all but 5 minutes to set up!- Even the box had beautiful branding, and honestly, the whole thing looks like it would cost about $900-1000. It’s amazing! Usage and size:- We have two huge cats (they are lightweight but large, around 13lbs, but cannot fit into a regular cat carrier) and one small girl. So far, my large blind tuxedo is the biggest fan of the box! We bought a step because the entrance is relatively high, and I put their familiar rug on the step to help. Like any automatic litter box, it is small for large cats. However, my Elvi just uses it sideways, which seems to work.- Blind Elvi learned to use it the same night that I set it up! We started off with it unplugged so as not to spook her with any of the movement, and by the next morning, she was a pro!- There are two steps to the cleaning. One is shortly after the cat used it, maybe 60s later? It seems to be their leveling function, which, as I understand, ensures the clump does not stick to the bottom. Then it waits a few minutes to give the litter time to clump (about 5 minutes, I think) tightly and then removes it. It does so very efficiently without wasting any unused litter!- We use a tofu litter with it that’s specifically designed for automatic litter boxes (soysand), and it works beautifully. Waste container:- The container has a clever design with special bin bags that are shallow but have a very wide opening that spans the entirety of the bin. It’s designed so you can pull the draw string before even opening the container to avoid any unpleasantness.- It comes with a roll of plenty of these special bags, but for now, I might just remove the waste and reuse the bag and see how that works. If it gets stinky, I’ll obviously replace it. I’ve only had the box for a few days, so I can’t speak about this yet. Training:- I didn’t have to do much training for my blind cat; I just mostly dug in the (clean, new) litter so she could hear the familiar sound. This got her curious, and she kept checking it out on her own- I read on Reddit that people have put a poop from another litter box into their automatic box to help the cats understand they needed to use it. In our case, this was not necessary. Still, it’s a good tip- responses to cleaning cycle: my cat was initially spooked with the sound but then got very curious and now just loves to lay by her box and wait for it to move (she hasn’t worked out yet that it only cleans after she used it)All in all, this is the best purchase I’ve made for my cats apart from GPS trackers. Yes, it doesn’t have an app, but I honestly don’t think this is necessary. We will be purchasing a second one soon to have in the living room. We are keeping at least one stainless steel litter tray for our large boy since he prefers to have more space (despite being the same size as our large girl). Our large girl (featured in the videos) is actively choosing this automatic box over her clean, usual stainless steel box. I think that says it all!

My first automatically litter box.  Myself and Cats are Happy. It is easy to use and keep clean

This is my first automatically litter box.  I was able to convert them from a litter box to the Scooper Auto Scooper 11 fairly easily. It has a wide opening so the cats can move around and there is enough room they can move the litter to cover after use.  It automatically scoops after 5 minutes of non use, so when the cats go in right after each other I do not have to worry about their saftely.  Not having to scoop numerous times a day is wonderful. The Scooper with 3 cats can go 5-7 days before changing the bag.  It is also very easy to wipe down or fully clean.  I definitely recommend Scooper Auto Scooper 11 and I believe my cats would also.Thank you Debbie, Ernest, Julio and Gallo

Best purchase this year!!

This thing is amazing, we've had one of those rectangular automatic litter box for going on 5 years, while it was better than scooping, it had a lot of drawbacks. So it started acting up and we needed a new one. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews and settled on this Scooper litter box.Love it! We have 2 Ragdoll cats, so big cats, and they started using this exclusively immediately. We left the other litter box set up for the transition, the old box has only been used a few times since the new box was set up. It's clean, I mean really clean. When it starts it's cycle, it rocks back and forth to cover any waste they didn't bury, then it waits for it to fully clump, about 5 min, then dumps in a bag under neath. It always looks like a fresh litter box. This is especially great for my male who will go outside the box if it isn't clean. The bag underneath can be pulled closed before you remove it to discard the used litter. There is no smell. It does a great job of containing the waste. I had read about other boxes having issues with starting while the cat is still inside, or pinching tails etc... this has not been an issue with this one. Its almost silent, the only sound i notice is of the litter sliding around as it goes through its process. Litter will scatter out the front of the box, but most is caught on the mat provided, its not a lot though, I'm not sure there will ever be a cat box that doesn't have this issue. Easily managed so no big deal. I can't speak about its life span, we've only had it 3 weeks, but so far this was a solid choice. I'm happy, the cats are happy, life is good. I'm using boxicat litter in this, and I would definitely recommend! In summary, the cats love it, it's clean, it's quiet, it contains odors, it's easy to clean and maintain. 10 stars!

No more scooping litter!

It was a slow process to get my cat to use this box but now that she does, it works great.  My cat was a feral cat for the first few years of her life and to say she is skiddish is an understatement.  I made the mistake of trying to transition her immediately to the auto clean mode and she was having none of it.  She was deeply suspicious of the noise and motion. So I tried a more gradual approach.  First I put it out without the tray underneath and the legs and it was unplugged.  So, it was a regular litter box at that point.  I would put the legs and tray back in place and run it through a manual cycle once a day.  My next step was to leave the legs and tray in place with "steps" up to it so she could stand outside of it.  I put it in manual mode and only ran it when she wasn't around.  Occasionally she would come into the room while it was still in motion and she would stare at it.  But she continued to use it.  I learned to run it multiple times a day. Finally, I put it in automatic mode.  She is still suspicious, but she uses it. I think having a step at the height of the unit so she doesn't have to jump into it blind helps her.  She likes to scratch with her front paws before she gets all the way in. I think she enjoys having a clean box every time.  It does a good job of containing the odor.  Changing the bag in the tray is reasonably quick and certainly much easier than scooping litter every day.  I use clumping litter from Costco and it works great. The unit is easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning.  The documentation is adequate, but I wish it has a better troubleshooting section.

Great for smaller rooms and bedrooms. Keeps the litter clean and eliminates the usual odors

This product was easy to set up and does what it says it will do. I like that it came with a litter mat. That's one less thing I have to purchase. For a litter box, it looks very space age and you don't mind it being visible in the house. Since it automatically sifts cat waste, it really helps with cutting down on the smell. We actually have one in our bedroom since and haven't had a problem with any litter box smell. The one thing that would make it better is the size. You obviously don't want a huge piece of equipment just for a cat box, but I notice my cat just fits into it. If you have a larger breed, your cat might be a little constrained trying to do their business.Other than the size issue, I would give five stars. I haven't checked, but there might be a larger model that I should have bought.
